In the quiet of the temple walls, I can always hear the whispers of the Spirit so clearly and unobstructed. Last week was no exception. I felt peaceful answers descend upon my heart. I’m always asking for ideas on how I can be a better mother and daughter of God. This night I also felt direction regarding this little blog space.
Because of the guidance I received, I felt strongly to keep writing here (even though I’m always a bit afraid to). I felt to keep sharing bits and pieces of my ordinary life–both the wonder-filled and the full of trial. I felt to keep sharing the lessons I’m learning and the scriptures I study that touch my heart. My words are not perfect and neither is my life, but I hope in the stories of my life, you might be able to relate and always feel that you have a friend.
My dad told me once that this little blog is somewhat of a scripture journal for me. And it truly is. It’s also a little “wonder journal” for me to record the ordinary hard and beautiful things that show me the tender mercies of the Lord day by day.
Thank you for reading and thank you for the words you write back to me. We’re all in this journey together. And YOU are amazing. Thanks for being here with me.
