I am convinced you can hustle through life on auto-pilot–doing much but enjoying little. There is an almost irresistible pull to hurry, push, strive, and struggle your way through each and every day. But it’s no way to live. At least, it’s no way to live well.
You must fight back against this dismal tendency to merely survive. Because you were created for so much more.
If you pray to see the world with new eyes as you wake each day, the Lord will bless you with fresh perspective.
Suddenly, the chaos becomes a chorus.
The hard becomes holy.
The disappointment leads to discipleship.
Every leaf on every tree speaks a lesson as it flutters in the wind.
Every moment is a poem.
